Barry has enjoyed a variety of success in his professional entertainment career so far. The road has been full of unbelievable accomplishments and some heartwarming moments that have moved and changed the lives of so many.
The accomplishment list is long and full of big name stars that Barry has shared the stage with. He has opened up for mega stars like Tim Mcgraw, The Band Perry, Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan, John Michael Montgomery, Joe Diffey, and Daryl Worley. His biggest crowd has been 20,000 at Fort Jackson in South Carolina.
He has also taken his talents to support veterans and troops all over the world. He has been to military bases in Hawaii, Greenland, Bahamas, Curacao, and Singapore. With his hit song “Heroes and Angels”, Barry and Gen. Chuck Yeager visited military bases throughout Afghanistan and Kuwait. Barry has also teamed up with a national sponsor Healthnet Federal Services to support the troops and families to deal with PTSD and Traumatic brain injuries they have incurred throughout their service. Healthnet and Barry have traveled all over the US with a positive message of hope and healing for those in need.
The contract between Barry and Healthnet was also a huge financial success. The deal between the two sold over a half a million copies and downloads of his song “Heroes and Angels”. Barry also released the single “uncountrify me” to radio and it reached #58 on the music row chart. He has over 150 songs in his catalog and counting as he continues to write.
Songwriting is one of Barry’s favorite things. He has co-written with great songwriters like Corey Barker and Sam Tate. He has also collaborated with producer Kimo Forrest, who has worked with John Michael Montgomery and Alabama.
Heroes and Angels
Barry has always been a free spirit at heart and he absolutely loves his country. He understands the great sacrifice that others have made so that he is able to get up every day and do what he loves to do and continue to chase his dreams. His respect for our Armed Forces is great and he was honored when he was approached to write a song for a group of Houston area WWII Veterans in support of their honor flight fundraiser. The song, Heroes and Angels, co-written with Nashville songwriter Corey Barker, gained national recognition and opened a lot of doors for Barry. He then parlayed that success into a full-blown tour performing at national conventions, military bases, government ceremonies and private events continuously thanking, honoring and supporting our troops.
Barry is all about having fun and doing life with people who love him. He also believes that it is very important to do life with a great purpose. Chasing his dreams and singing country music is his hobby but loving, serving, supporting and thanking our troops is his purpose. He has dedicated much of his time doing just that and has no plans of slowing down any time soon.
In honor and support of service members, Veterans and their families, the primary mission has been to increase awareness and encourage the use of behavioral health services. “The message we are sending is simple, says Barry. “We want people to know they aren’t alone and if they need help, they should call us. We will be there.”
Heroes and Angels is a warm and sincere thank you to all Veterans straight from Barry’s heart.
Barry loves getting to do what he loves every day. He understands that he would not be able to do what he does without his fans. Barry would love to come into your home and perform in an up close and personal setting. Relationship building is most important to him and this gives him a chance to do that.
Barry has had the honor of performing at many military events to show his support and to thank our troops. This is just one more way he has turned his passion into his purpose. Barry would love to sing Heroes and Angels at your next Military event.
Entertainment and All Other Events
Having a community event, fund raiser, private ceremony or just a having fun, getting down concert? Barry would love to be your entertainment.
You can't UNCONTRIFY Barry!!
By the looks of Barry, the down-home, Southern charmer with a signature deep and twangy in all the right spots voice, you might be tempted to think that he is a country boy through and through. The truth is, Barry wrote this song, Uncountrify Me, to let it be known that it is too late to “uncontrify” him now!
